About us
AMH was founded in 1993 as a coordinated response to a rapidly changing health care delivery system being driven by the early developments of managed health care. We began as an interdisciplinary team of clinicians sharing the goal of providing integrated, quality mental health care in an egalitarian independent practice association model. We have since evolved into a long-standing, cohesive group of Master’s Level Therapists and Doctorate Psychologists working together in mutual support and community involvement, fostering professional excellence, and collectively navigating a changing mental health care environment. Barbara Overson, LMHC, is our Chief Executive Officer and Letisha Stokes manages the group practice.
